The IR.Tools™ Infrared IR American Flag Patch is manufactured with exclusive SandStorm Technology™ that protects against water, sand, and debris. Unlike standard IR patches, SandStorm Technology uses perfectly formed microprisms built as one seamless layer. Unlike standard issue "honeycomb" infrared patches, IR.Tools™ patches will not peel or fall apart due to this single layer film.
In overt applications, the GARRISON patch prevents friendly fire casualties by reflecting white light from headlights, flashlights, and infrared light sources. This patch can also be viewed with NVGs or other night vision devices, but is non-covert. We recommend the Garrison IR patch for on-base operations.
