Forge Concepts developed Bungee Retention Adapters to provide a simple solution for kydex based open top magazine pouches and placards that lack built-in retention points for over the top bungee retention.
They work inside of pouches, like Esstac KYWIs that do not have hook/loop interfaces on both sides. By passing underneath the insert, they provide superior retention to solutions that just mount to the sides of the pouch. This also means you can use these to adjust the ride height of things like magazines in a placard or pouches like the Spiritus JSTA making them easier to access.
Measure the height of your pouch or placard to determine the size you need. The standard heights offered correspond to the three Esstac sizes, as well as most other major pouches and placards on the market.
